This is a little test shot we dreamed up to see what our new Epic M could do.. it includes some behind the scenes hijinks, and a VFX breakdown. Crew were Glenn Cogan, Brett Piva, Simon Murrell and Luke Amann.

Shot at 5k, 2:1 @ 96 fps on the Red Pro Zoom 17 - 50... Sped up later in post.. Composited in After Effects CS5, using R3Ds converted to 5K ProRes 4444s..

Mini Newcastle - Tilt Shift Technique Test

A quick test to to recreate the ever popular tilt shift miniature look. Shot with stills on the Canon 5D. Edited in After Effects where we added lens blur and colour correction.
Shot around the beaches of Newcastle one sunny afternoon. We discovered there is not quite enough elevation to get the desired angle for a proper tilt shift look :(

A 4 minute corporate video created with a very quick turn around. A half day shoot at a local Newcastle school followed by a few days editing, animating and revising. Result - a very happy client.
